Marriage is one of the most significant stages in a romantic relationship. Vowing to commit to your partner until death, is considered the summit of love and an expression of the permanent bond between two souls. It is especially important in Hindu culture to get married, that is why it is vital for a wedding day to be of an excellent standard, as well as having a professional photographer present to solidify these special memories. Vivida Photography was able to make this happen for Aneeka and Jaisal, the couple reached out to us in May 2019 and we were pleased to be able to work with them!
The Hindu wedding was situated at the Hotel: Hilton Syon Park, London which was definitely a fantastic choice. It’s an incredibly flexible venue as it provides a variety of settings, whether intimate or grand, it is the perfect Asian Wedding hotel location. This venue is enveloped by 200 acres of peaceful parkland and offers a large range of facilities and services that Aneeka & Jaisal’s family and friends were to make use of.
Among the many facilities offered, the Grand Ballroom was vital to their wedding day as it contained the Mandap, which serves as the altar in Indian weddings (specifically Hindu and Jain ceremonies). The gold backdrop against the white carpet, accompanied by the white, pink, and peach flower runner created a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere, perfect for the couple to get married in.
The primarily white and gold coloured decor beautifully accompanied the couple’s outfits which were also white and gold. More subtle colours like pastel blue, pastel pink, and peach acquainted the theme elegantly.
